Development Appraisal
A financial model that tests whether a property development project is viable — it weighs the project value (GDV) against all costs and finance to reveal profit, returns and the land value the site can support.
Why it matters
It is the foundational decision tool for buying land, raising finance, or committing to a scheme. Without it, a developer risks overpaying for a site or starting an unprofitable project.
